Depending on your skill set and area, the training varies. New grads may require more training. The training is specific to the new hire as well as the modality. MUSC has pathway programs for advance imaging as well as dual-modality roles.

Part of training is a MUSC Radiology specific orientation. During orientation the MUSC Radiology educators review expectations, training modules, and clinical competency check-offs. This is a 4 hour time to ensure that all new hires have the proper resources and access needed to begin. We don't rush things to ensure that all new hires are comfortable. We know that MUSC is large and want to make sure to allow time.
